About Me

Born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, I have a special connection to nature and an eternal love for autumnal leaves. Besides reading and sipping coffee, I enjoy knitting and sewing, weaving on my loom, pyrography, painting, gardening, and much more. My latest project is restoring a hand-made dollhouse! I am also an avid historian and novice genealogy researcher, finding immeasurable bliss in exploring ancestral roots.

My work experience ranges from youth crisis de-escalation to preschool teaching to interning as a museum educator with a historical society. Most recently, I worked as a marketing assistant and created tutorials for a crafting company!

My studies in Literature have focused on American, British, and Global texts. I adore children’s literature - some of my favorite authors are A.A. Milne and Else Holmelund Minarik – who, like me, were inspired by their children.
